The Community Companions project provides adults in Dundee with the opportunity to meet and interact socially with others. This can be either with a single companion or as part of a small group at one of our community cafes.
Our community companion volunteers befriend people in many ways. For example, by visiting them in their own home, accompanying them to a social activity, shopping trips, or a visit to a local cafe.
The service provided by the community companions is flexible and we try to accommodate evenings and weekends where possible. All we ask for is an hour or two of your time on a regular basis.
