Over the previous three years, a Carers Winter Fund has been made available to unpaid carers struggling with additional costs faced during the winter period. The Carers Winter Fund was made available through underspends of Scottish Government funding and administered by Dundee Carers Centre on behalf of Dundee's Carer Partnership.
Regrettably this has now been exhausted and Dundee's Carers Partnership are unable to provide a Carers Winter Fund again this year.
Dundee's Carers Partnership understand this will be disappointing news to unpaid carers, who have benefitted from this additional support over previous winter periods and want to ensure unpaid carers are made aware early.
