Creating Hope Together in Dundee

Creating Hope Together in Dundee 2024-2026 - Dundee's Suicide Prevention Delivery Plan has recently been published. The plan outlines the overarching local suicide prevention aims for Dundee for the next three years and a series of project actions which will support these. These have been informed by the four long term outcomes set out in Creating Hope Together: Scotland’s Suicide Prevention Strategy 2022-2032 and extensive local engagement with key agencies, local communities and people with lived experience. The overarching vision set out in the plan is as follows:

Dundee is a city where every child, young person or adult who has thoughts of taking their own life, or is affected by suicide in other ways, can get the help they need and feel a sense of hope. Our communities, services and workplaces are safe, compassionate, inclusive, and free of stigma and everyone understands their role in helping to prevent suicide.
