Carers Rights Day Event 21/11/24 -Recognising Carers Rights to be Heard
Dundee Carers Partnership leads on Strategic Planning for carers in Dundee on behalf of Dundee Integration Joint Board (IJB). The Strategy aims to support unpaid carers looking after family members or friends who have care and support needs.
The Carers Partnership implements "A Caring Dundee 2" which is the local carers strategy. One of the strategic outcomes is that carers should be heard, recognised, respected and involved. An action taken as part of this was to develop an Involvement Framework with and for carers in Dundee.
The completed framework was launched at a Carers Rights Day Event at Dundee carers Centre with local carers, and stakeholders including members of Dundee Integration Joint Board.
You can view the framework at Dundee Carers Partnership Carers Invovlement Framework 2024.pdf
